Welcome to our website
Welcome to the website of Northampton Liberal Democrats, covering the constituencies of Northampton North and Northampton South.
On May 3rd 2007 the Liberal Democrats took control of Northampton Borough Council for the first time. We have 26 Councillors on Northampton Borough Council and 8 Councillors on Northamptonshire County Council.
In Northampton North constituency the party hold 9 out of 10 wards on the Borough and got 54% of the vote in the last local elections. The party re-selected Andrew Simpson as Parliamentary Candidate for Northampton North constituency in May 2006. The seat is seen as a top prospect for the party to gain at the next General Election.
